AirborneID was founded to provide Infectious Disease physician services remotely to healthcare facilities. Medical specialists tend to cluster around large urban centers, leaving smaller, more remote facilities understaffed and often requiring patients to drive for hours to receive specialty care. Telemedicine advances equitable delivery of healthcare by allowing a single physician to cover multiple facilities in a short period of time, expanding access to medical expertise and improving outcomes in local healthcare facilities.
